Kate Duet Grammer, 75, a native and resident of Galliano, LA passed away on July 26, 2015. Visitation will take place at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Thursday July 30 from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm and on Friday July 31 from 8:00 am till funeral time. Funeral Mass will take place on July 31 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 am with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.
Mrs. Grammer is survived by her children Rickey Guidry (Karen) and Deirdre M. Guidry (James), their father Albert J. Guidry, daughters Jaimie Grammer, and Patricia Hope, grandchildren Justin, Devin, Khalid, Benjamin, Jacob, Lucas, and Hope, great grandchildren Cole, Hunter, Logan, Bailey, Trey, Demi, and Lorelai, godchildren Barry Robichaux, Lisa Cheramie, and Stacy Lerille, sisters Linda Lefort (Chester) and Joan Guidry, and brothers-in-law Ronald Helmer Sr. and Roger Blanchard Sr.
Mrs. Kate was preceded in death by her infant daugher Jaqueline, husband Jack Grammer, beloved son Kelly Bouffanie, grandchild Tracy Cantrelle, parents Edison and Sisca A. Duet, in-laws Leander and Agnes Guidry, sisters Naomie Cheramie, Rita Blanchard, Mary Ann Helmer neice and nephew Corey Guidry and Rachel Cheramie.
