Kate “KC” V. Crosby, 73, a native and resident of Grand Isle passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16th, 2023.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church in Grand Isle on Saturday, December 23rd, 2023 from 9:00 am until service time. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with cremation following.
Mrs. Kate is survived by her children: Samuel Crosby (Nicole), and Shannon Crosby, grandchildren: Cooper, Chelsea, Kyla, Samuel Jr., Laila, Liliana, Lana, Luke, Reynell, Renee, Ryan; great grandchildren: Waylon, Jai, Sterling, Alaya, Xander, Ava, Chanson, Ryder, Vincent, Leslie, with one on the way; siblings: Carrie, Alice, Joyce, Blondie, Phyllis, Patty, Thomas, Georgie, Rouvin, and Bobby; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Crosby was preceded in death by her husband: Hubert Charles Crosby Sr.; sons: Hubert Crosby Jr., Jai Crosby; grandchildren: Kobi Simoneaux, Corey Crosby; siblings: Beulah, Julie Ann, Alfred, Gary, Lackie, Melvin.
KC loved fishing, cooking for the Island, and loved spending time with her big family.
