Justilia Marie Charpentier Adams

Justilia Marie Charpentier Adams, 93 years old, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2021 at 7 :10 p.m. She was born November 23, 1927 and lived in Galliano her entire life.

She is survived by her daughters, Anne Doucet (Mark), Brenda Rodrigue (James) and Cindy Brown (John); graandchildren, Kelly Alario (Jason), Aaron Rodrigue (Suzie), Jamie Rodrigue, Joshua Rodrigue (Lainey) and Shelby Brown; great-grandchildren, Matthew Alario, Evan Alario and Eden Rodrigue .

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Adams; parents, Julien and Julienne Charpentier; grandson, Marc Martin; 7 brothers.

‘’T-Ya’’, as she was known, loved family, friends, traveling and food, but mostly loved Jesus and our Blessed Mother. She prayed the Rosary daily (Sometimes multiple times a day) and encouraged others to do the same. Her faith in God was beautiful and simple. Justilia could recite the entire Rosary in French and was often asked to do so. Her love of travel took her to many places around the world and she cherished each trip, still talking about her experiences years later. Justilia loved nothing more than being with people she loved and enjoyed a good cajun meal! People who knew her and loved her called her ‘’quite a character’’ and that she was ! She wore many hats !
