Judy Collins Duet, 68, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, died at 8:33 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2011.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time today at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Clint Duet and wife, Shelly, and Rickey Duet; one daughter, Vicki Capro and husband, Al; two brothers, Kirby Collins Jr. and Buddy Collins; one sister, Patricia Culpepper; seven grandchildren, Kolour, Erin, Zeke, Chet, Hailey and Meg Duet and Justin Gaudin; and six great-grandchildren, Tristan Duet, Adam Griffin IV, Kamryn Delatte, Kyndall Ducote, Gabby Gaudin and Jude Bouziga.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirby Collins Sr. and Eula Triche Collins; and one son, Eric Duet.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, a retired teacher at LCO and administrator for PALS.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
