Juanita Rose D. Dupre,74, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
Visitation will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, in Schriever, on Tuesday, November 7th from 9:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Juanita is survived by her husband of 31 years, Curtis John Dupre; children, Hope LeCompte (Dennis), Stacey Duval (Chad), Thomas Dupre; grandchildren, Lynzie LeCompte, Chad Duval Jr., Dominique Angeron (Galen), Thomas Dupre Jr., Noah Dupre, Lelyn Dupre and Deni Dupre; great-grandchildren, Drake and Amelia Angeron; sisters, Susan Boudreaux (Don) and Mary Pearson (Greg).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Evelyn Dupont; granddaughter, Alexis Gregoire; brothers, Joseph and Richard Dupont.
Juanita was a seamstress for over 20 years; throughout that time, she sewed lots of Mardi Gras costumes and gowns. She loved to cook and spend time with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Lawrence Church in her name.
