Joycelyn Mary Robert Robert passed away peacefully at her home in Ama, on June 3, 2022. She was 82 years old.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Kenneth Anthony Robert. She was loved by her children, Shari Raia (Johnny), Lori Plaisance (Danny), Lisa Matherne (late Quinsen) and Darren Robert (Gina). She was the proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was also survived by her sisters, Myra Nicholas, Marjory Robert and Gayle Stansbury.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucien Joseph Robert and Edith Bethencourt Robert and brother, Larry Joseph Robert.
Joycelyn was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a talented seamstress and a wonderful cook. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family at their camp.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, June 6, 2022 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 10771 River Road, Ama, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery, 1279 Paul Maillard Road, Luling, LA.
