Joyce Plaisance Toups

Joyce P. Toups, 92, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Cut Off, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galliano, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery, Galliano, LA.
She is survived by her son, Leo Toups, Jr. (Elizabeth); daughters, Brenda Compeaux (Harold) and Marcie Martin (Gregory); grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Mark, Kiley, Hilary, Amelia, Lacie and Luke; great grandchildren, Meaghan, Mia, Maggie, Madeleine, Madison, Lindsey, Max, Micah, Lily and Quinn and great-great grandchild, Sutton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Toups, Sr.; parents, Esso Sr. and Hazel Plaisance; brother, Esso Plaisance, Jr. and grandchild, Mitchell.
She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Ladies of La Salette.
