Joyce Mcdonald Robichaux

Joyce McDonald Robichaux, 86, a native and resident of Raceland, LA passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am. A private burial will be followed at St. Mary’s Nativity Mausoleum.
Joyce is survived by her son, Kenn Robichaux; daughter, Niki Robichaux Bergeron; grandson, Jesse J. Bergeron; granddaughter, Jordan N. O’Gwynn (Matt); and great granddaughter Ryan Noelle O’Gwynn.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny A. “J.A.” Robichaux Jr.; parents, Clifton J. and Josephine Dantin McDonald; sister, Peggy M. Oncale; brothers, C.J. and R.J. McDonald.
She was a 1st grade teacher at St. Charles Elementary School for nearly 22 years. She loved her family and friends with all of her heart. Family get togethers were her specialty. Her hobbies were gardening, reading, crocheting and embroidering. Joyce will be deeply missed by her family.
