Joyce Marie Guidry Anselmi, 90, a native and resident of Galliano passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
Visitation wil be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, on Friday, March 1st from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the Cheramie cemetery.
She is survived by her son Lancelot Anselmi; daughter, Jana Anselmi Cheramie (Richard, Jr.); grandchildren, Brody Savoie (Sierra), Slye Cheramie (Sabrina), Seth Cheramie (Olivia), Lucas Anselmi, Remy Anselmi, and Nate Anselmi; niece, Ashley Avants; great-grandchildren, Elise, Fynn, Slade, Harry, and Camila Jo; brothers, Henry “Rick” Guidry, Donald Guidry, and Steven Guidry; sister, Carol Lynn Guidry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison J. Anselmi; father, Albert Guidry; mother, Agnes St. Pierre; great-granddaughter, Frances Joy Cheramie; sister, Brenda St. Pierre Griffin.
