Joy Lynn Arceneaux Naquin, age 61, a native and resident of Thibodaux, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26 at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland from 7:00-9:00 pm and Saturday, June 27 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1985 Hwy 308 in Thibodaux from 8:00 until 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at the church at 11:00am with a burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Joy is survived by her husband, Kevin O. Naquin; parents, Dalton "Bickey" Arceneaux and Joyce Ann Theriot Arceneaux; step son, Stephen Naquin; sisters, Gail Marie Fox and husband Gale, Kay Frances Levron and husband Ronnie; nieces and nephews, Ryan and Lauren Baye, Gilbert and Emily Adams and great niece, Emma Baye.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Carlton Paul Arceneaux and grandparents, Beatrice Bergeron Theriot, Paul Justy Theriot, Carlton Paul Arceneaux and Carrie Boston Arceneaux.
She was a spirited lady that laughed often and loved deeply. She had a heart of gold and knew no stranger. Her door was always open and her home was a gathering place for family and friends. She was the Joy that will forever fill our lives. The family would like to thank the staff at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and Journey Hospice for their care.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is entrusted with arrangements.
