Josephine Ellen "Turtle" Parfait Naccio, 71, a native of Houma and resident of Raceland, died at 8:25 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass will be held at noon Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by six sons, Norman Naccio Jr. and wife, Deadra, Andrew Naccio and wife, JoAnn, Ricky Naccio and wife, Salli, Rodney Naccio, Chad Naccio and wife, Jessica, and Daniel Naccio; six daughters, Gayle N. Daigle and husband, Dale, Cheryl Brugett and husband, Claude, Norma Jean Ramey and husband, Jimmy Ray, Barbara Naccio, Renee Garcia, and Deborah Morato and husband, Alex; four brothers, Michael, Tony, Peter, and Easton Parfait; one sister, Marie Verdin; and 38 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Naccio Sr.; her parents, Abraham Parfait Sr. and Marie Foret Parfait; one daughter, Tammy Naccio; one brother, Abraham Parfait Jr.; three sisters, Susanne Cupp, Florence Soudelier and Rita Mae Plaisance; and four grandchildren.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
