Josephine "Anne" Thibodeaux Melancon, 86, a native of Henderson and resident of Lockport, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011 at her home.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the church, with interment at Hope Haven Cemetery in Gonzales.
She is survived by one son, Brady Melancon and wife, Diane; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. Melancon; her parents, Agenia Thibodeaux and Laura Dupuis Thibodeaux; four brothers, Rosenbare, Oswald, Lincoln, and Alcee Thibodeaux; and four sisters, Alcidie Courville, Martha Marchland, Irene Poirier and Otta Daigle.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
