Josephine R. Cheramie, 61, a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Grand Isle LA for 32 years and Raceland, LA for 5 years, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Friday, August 8, 2014 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1985 Highway 308, Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Harry "Chu Chu" Cheramie; son, Allen J. Gaudet IV; daughter, Jennifer A. Rodriguez and husband Blake; step son, Johnny Cheramie; step daughters, Audra Cheramie and Audrey Cheramie; mother, Nora B. Romano; sisters, Eula Lopez (Al), Phyllis Summers, Anna Johnson (Shawn), Antoinette Wilkinson (Tom), Patricia Romano, Nancy Cassagne (Craig) and 4 grandchildren and 6 step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph J. Romano and step son, Harry Cheramie, Jr.
In lieu of flowers donations to The American Cancer Society or St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
