Joseph Marts

Joseph (Joey) Marts, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and a resident of Larose, LA, passed away peacefully Friday, May 26, 2017 at Ochsner Foundation Medical Center.Visitation with his family will be held from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday, May 29, 2017 at the New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 13841 E. Main St. in Larose. A "Celebration of Life" will begin at 11 a.m.He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Marts; daughters, Alicia, Jessica, Jennifer, Chrishonna, Teneya and Courtney and son, Dwaynete'; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence, Sr. and Agnes W.
