Joseph Boyd Clark

Coach Joseph Boyd Clark, a California native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2021.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Joyce A. “Sam” Clark; daughters, Alison Lienau, Michelle Casteel, and Maria Donley and his son, Perry Rodrigue, Jr., and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roberta and Harry Clark; brother, Rick Clark and his daughter, Marcelle Hanemann.
Joe was a retired National Football League Coach. His love of coaching and “the game of football” gave him great pleasure in life. He always loved the challenge of the game and the opportunity to work with and influence young men, not only in the game of football but the game of life – from high school to college.
He will be greatly missed, not only by his loving family, but by those whose lives he touched and influenced.
Per his wishes, no services will be held.
