Joseph Charles Boudreaux, Sr., 89, a native of Bayou Blue and a resident of Gray, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Falgout Funeral Home, Houma, LA and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday, January 9, 2016 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Bayou Blue, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Rogers Boudreaux; son, Mark Boudreaux (Barbara Ann); daughters, Gayle Boquet, Roxanne "Roxie" Thompson (Nathan); daughter-in-law, Barbara Boudreaux; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Amy Legendre Boudreaux; son, Joseph Boudreaux, Jr.; son-in-law, Cyril Boquet; brothers, George, Harry, Alex Boudreaux; sisters, Verna Levron, Ida Mae Breaux, Velma Bonvillain and 1 grandchild.
Joseph enjoyed square dancing and camping.
