Jonathan Louis Doré, a resident of Pearl River and previous resident of Larose, entered into eternal peace Monday, April 18, 2011.

A longtime resident of Larose, he was a certified welder with Baker Land and Marine Construction.

He is survived by his father, Perry J. Doré, and companion, Rebel Hebert; his beloved mother, Jane M. LeBlanc, and companion, John H. Matherne; and especially his lifelong brother and friend, Dustin M. Doré; his grandparents, “Maw Maw” Rena L. Hebert, Dieu Donne Doré, Helen Doré and Mickey and Pat Dormain; his loving “Perrin” Emile J. Hebert; his “Dee Dee” Dolores A. Hebert; his “MeMe” Linda L. and “NeNe” Sidney Saivant; Uncle Louie and Aunt Cindy LeBlanc; special Aunt Cathy D. Mohr and nanny Melinda M. Macaluso; the LeBlanc, Hebert, Doré, Dormain and Anselmi families, which includes 11 uncles, 11 aunts and 75 cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Octave “Johnny” LeBlanc Jr. and Willie Isabel LeBlanc and Noah Hebert.

He will be missed by all who were touched by his love, kindness and compassion. We love you, and you will forever be missed.

Family is invited to attend an evening visitation from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011, at the KC Home in Larose. Visitation with friends will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at the KC Home.

Visitation for family will continue at 10 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass with friends and family will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
