Johnny Joseph Chiasson

Johnny J. Chiasson, 84, a native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, October 18, 2021 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Gertie Champagne Chiasson; son, Matty Chiasson (Sharon); daughters, Malvina Sapia (Ralph), Mona Folse, Marlene Cothran (Darryl Allemand) and Myrtle Leweke (Carl); sister, Janet Chiasson; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Milton Folse Jr.; parents, Octave and Lynda Boudreaux Chiasson and brothers, Jeffery Chiasson and Jimmy Chiasson.
Johnny was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and he enjoyed playing cards.
In lieu of flowers donations to Holy Savior Catholic Church are requested.
