Johnny “Poppy” Bellanger, 78, a native and resident of Cut Off, passed away on Wednesday July, 6, 2022.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 12th from 11 am until service time. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 pm with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Johnny is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rose S. Bellanger; son, Timmy Bellanger (Lori); daughters, Sabrina Smith (Sammy), Bridget Toups (Greg), Laura Wood, Michelle Bellanger; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmie Bellanger (Rita) and his canine companion, Sadie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howell and Vencia Bellanger; brothers, Howard and Melvin Bellanger; sisters, Diane Bellanger , Maryann Griffin, Mary Martin and Janet Hunter.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
