Johnnie R. Daigrepont, Sr., 82, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Galliano, on Monday, October 25th from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery.
Johnnie is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sybil A. Daigrepont; children, Johnnie Daigrepont Jr. (Vicki), Nathan Daigrepont (Rebecca), Valerie D. Sepulvado (Keith); Melanie Daigrepont (Chad); grandchildren, Rachel Costello, Christopher Daigrepont, Matthew Daigrepont Jr., Lauren Barfield, Alayna Daigrepont, William Daigrepont, Lyndsey Tran, Taylor and Rylea Sepulvado; great grandchildren, Marlee, Kayleigh, Emi, Madelyn, Anthony, Samuel, Bella, Taysom, Grayson, Leann, Amelia; sisters, Mary Galland, Barbara Gauthier, Aline Finlan; brother in law, Charles Aupied.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile and Melanie Daigrepont; son, Matthew Daigrepont; brothers, Jimmie and Melvin Daigrepont; sister, Louise White; father and mother-in-law, Tim and Lou Aupied.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
