John E. McCoy, 72, a native of Houma and resident of Michigan, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a..m. to funeral time at the Falgout Funeral Home, with services at the funeral home at 11 a.m., and burial at Magnolia Cemetery in Houma.
He is survived by his son, Scott McCoy; his daughter, Kelli McCoy Grzenia; one stepson, Craig Gentry; three stepdaughters, Jennifer Gentry, Corry Gentry, and Kim Hall; two sisters, Sheila Smith and Jewell West; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Precilla Toujun McCoy; two sons, John E. McCoy Jr. and Steven McCoy; and two grandsons, Matthew McCoy and Cody McCoy.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
