John "Kit" Henry Williamson Iii

John “Kit” Henry Williamson, III, 79, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023. He was a native of Victoria, TX and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

John is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary “Pearl” Voisin Williamson; son, Gary C. Bellanger; daughters, Kitty B. Portier and husband, Hayes Jr., and Julie B. LeBoeuf and husband, Mark; brother, Stanley Williamson; grandchildren, Renee Bellanger, Joshua Portier and Kayla Guise, Michael Hortin, and Kayla Colvin, Jon, Matthew, Conner, and Collin Bellanger; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Rhodes, Cole Dicharry, Alyson Portier, Brady Guise, and Liam and Beckett Hortin; one great-great-grandchild, Ellie Lou on the way; and his beloved dog, Sugar.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Williamson Jr. and Laurel Flavia Younkers Williamson; and son, James J. Bellanger.
