John A. Cooper, Jr.,78, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021. He was a native and lifelong resident of Houma. No services are planned at this time. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Cooper; 1 son, Heath Paul Cooper; 1 brother, Charles Cooper (Charlene); 2 Sisters, Catherine Leblanc (Danny), Willie Lou Faulk (Mark).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nora and John Cooper and a sister, Phoebe Weaver.
Mr. Cooper was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a graduate of Nicholls State University.
He, also, ran the old Colonial Acres golf course for 34 years.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
