John Dennis Adams, 73, died on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 at his residence, from heart failure.
Family and friends are invited to the services. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano.
He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Ann Guidroz and husband, Eddie, Monica Lynn Moliniare and husband, Andrew, Gwynn Marie Dardar and husband, Clyde, and Lydia "Sue" Richoux; grandchildren, Isaac and Candace Guidroz, Andy, Jeremy, and Christa Moliniare, Kassi D. Picou, Hali Dardar, and Blake and Roxy Richoux; great-grandchildren, Jenah, Jeremiah, Austin, Moliniare, Amelia, and Oliver Picou.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Hayes Adams; and parents, Felix Adams and Palmyra LeJeune Adams Archer.
He was a native of Crowley, lived 50 years on Bayou Lafourche in Larose and Cut Off, and was a resident of Opelousas for the last eight years.
