Joelle Montz Gerken, 70, a native of New Orleans and resident of Larose passed away on Friday June 28, 2013.
Visitation will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Houma on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until funeral time. Funeral services will be observed at 3:00 p.m. with a private burial at a later date.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Frederick Paul Gerken; sons, Stanley Bullock, Josiah "Joey" Bullock; daughter, Connie (Jesse) Bordelon; brother, Robert Montz; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Montz, Sr. and Nella Mae R. Montz; son, Randolph Robert Bullock; brother, Stanley Montz, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, please make in kind donations to Grace Lutheran Church or Christ Lutheran Church in her memory.
