Joanne Gervais Truxillo, 75, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 1:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Sergian Truxillo Jr. and companion, Vicki Falgout; daughter, Sharon Truxillo and partner, Harriet Holland; brother, Hubert J. Gervais Jr. and wife, Brenda; and two sisters, Letsy Gervais Foret and husband, John E. Foret, and Sandra Gervais Keller and husband, Benton Keller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sergian "Black", "C-Flon" Truxillo Sr.; parents, Hubert Gervais Sr. and Lucia Martinez Gervais; sister, Sybil Gervais Pitre and husband, Raymond "Ray" Pitre; and grandson, Bryan "Bubba" Truxillo.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
