A native of Cut Off, LA and resident of Galliano, LA passed away on 1/1/2022 at the age of 82.
Family and friends are invited to attend a wake at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm; a Masonic Service will be held at 6:00 pm with a Rosary at 8:00 pm and on Thursday, January 6th, 2022 from 8:00 am until 10:00 am with procession following to an 11:00 am Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off with burial following at Cheramie Cemetery.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 63 years: Zebella Kiff Allemand; sons: Jimmy Allemand, Jr. (Sheena), Welton Allemand (Laura), Lane Greco (Michelle); daughters: Dena Bernard (Murphy), Zena Pitre (Michael), Nena Lee (Troy), Beulah-Faye Galliano (Nuckle); grandchildren: Jimmy (T-Trap) III (Janita), & Jobi Allemand (Morgan), Taylor (Brandi) & Tyler Bernard (Paige), Hilary Boudreaux (Mason), Jake (Lara), Janee’ (Jay) & Jaden Lee, Brittany (Jacob) & Lindsey Boudreaux (Cooper), Wes Allemand, Nicholas (Louise) & Alec Galliano; great Grandchildren: Mason, Ace, & Ella Allemand, Leland, Lynnix, & Ava Bernard, Molly & Noah Galliano; brother: Wade Allemand; sisters: Jeanne Ledet, Jenny Savoie, & Charlene Trosclair.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eno Allemand, Sr. & Elfacia Brunet Allemand, Brother,
Eno Allemand, Jr., sisters, Irene Charpentier, Vera Callais, Melda Dufren, Rilda Gisclair, and
Emely Collins, Grandchildren Jenna & Janey Lee and Jory Pitre.
Jimmy loved his dog Pepper, who he lovingly called Papa’s Girl. He was an active member of the
Lafourche Lodge 427 F&AM. He made a living the majority of his life on the water as a Captain on shrimp boats and tug boats. He traveled the world through his jobs. He adored his wife, kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
The family would like to thank the Lafourche Parish Fire Dept., Sheriff’s office, ambulance service,
and Falgout Funeral Home for all they did for Papa Jim.
