Jessie Joseph Delaune, Jr., age 81, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023. He was a native and resident of Lockport, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Savior Little Church in Lockport on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with following in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport, LA.

Jessie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolores Richoux Delaune; daughters, Lisa D. Babin and husband, Neil, and Christy D. Loupe and husband, Louis Jr.; grandchildren, Brad (Lauren) Babin, Kimberly Babin, Seth Babin, Aaron Babin, Raven Delaune, Kobie (Raven) Loupe, Brittany (Jeremy) Levron, Storm (Jessica) Loupe, Brook (Kirk Jr.) Foret, Devin Delaune, and Brendon Delaune; great-grandchildren, Brylie, Brantley, Amelia, Addison, Blake, Averyn, Atticus, August, Ausin, River, Ivy, Damien, Hunter, and Weston.

Jessie was preceded in death by his sons, Todd and Chad Delaune; parents, Jessie Joseph Sr. and Leona Loupe Delaune; brother, Jerry P. Delaune; sister, Mary Ann Delaune; in-laws, Whitney A. Richoux and Anna Mae Rodrigue.
