Jerome “Jerry’ Shields, 67, a native of Metarie and resident of Lockport passed away on Monday, January 3nd, 2022.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022 from 10:00 am until service time. A Memorial Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Jerome is survived by his loving wife of 47 years: Valerie Gisclair Shields; son: Jeremy Shields; daughter: Alison Hadaway (Adam); grandchildren: Molly and Kaylin Hadaway; mother: Genevieve Willis Shields; brother: Patrick Shields, Jr. (Linda), and sister: Sharon S. Hartley (Tommy).
Mr. Shields was preceded in death by his father: Patrick Shields, Sr.; brother: Michael Shields, Sr.; and sister: Susan S. Graves.
Jerry enjoyed playing golf, duck carving, and puzzles. He was the owner and operator of S&W Marine.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in his name to Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Larose.
