Jennie M. Marcel, 92, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, LA, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Bayou Blue, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, George Marcel, Jr. (Gloria), Jeryl Marcel (Jean) and Richard Marcel (Beverly); daughter, Sandy Darcey; brother, Wallace Marcel, Jr.; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Marcel, Sr.; son-in-law, Glen Darcey and parents, Wallace Marcel, Sr. and Anne Marcel.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
