Jennie Lee “Jan” G. Reding, 92, a native of Cut Off and resident of Galliano passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023 at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano from 9:00 am until service time. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 11:oo am with procession following to her burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.
Mrs. Jennie Lee is survived by her daughters: Debrah R. Callais, Donna B. Reding, son: Steven John Reding (Casey); grandchildren: Cyd Callais, Lauren C. Hebert (Rene), Michael Plaisance, Chrisy P. Rousse (Todd), Tiffani R. Amedeo (Mike), Katelyn R. Galjour (Justin) Paul Reding (Claire), Jack Reding; great grandchildren: Brooklyn, Allie, Jaxon, Kathryn, Ava, Lillian, Ella, Drew, Parker.
Mrs. Reding was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth D. Reding; mother: Melodia Autin Guidry; father: Ellis E. Guidry; son in law: Decatur “Dickie” Callais; sister: Irene Guidry, Meta G. Cheramie, Marcella G. Griffin, Ethel G. McNabb; brothers: Elmo Guidry, Sr. and T-Bob Guidry; and niece: Charlene Griffin, Lana Guidry, and nephew: Ricky Guidry.
Jan was known for her cooking, watching biddy basketball, and cheering on her SLHS Tarpons.
