Jeffrey A. Blanchard, 75, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died Monday, May 23, 2011 in Las Cruces, N.M.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Mary C. Blanchard; four sons, Jeffrey Blanchard and wife, Jasmine, Albert Blanchard and wife, Vicky, Randy Cox and companion, Angela, and Denny Billiot and wife, Jennifer; five daughters, Lisa and Sara Blanchard, Joann Parfait, Helen Littleton and Michelle Martin; three brothers, Alvin Blanchard Sr., Horace Blanchard and wife, Lorena, and Gary Blanchard and wife, Bonnie; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family, friends, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Virginia Blanchard; one grandson, Quentin Kingen; and three sisters, Pearl Whitney Guy, Mae Duplantis and Theresa Naquin.
He was the longtime owner and operator of Houma Body and Fender. He was a Navy veteran. He is already and will be greatly missed by all who were a part of his life.
