Jeannette Delaune Naquin
April 22, 1929 — January 2, 2021
Jeannette Delaune Naquin, 91, a native of Assumption Parish and a resident of Lafourche parish, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Guidry and husband, Lee, and two Grandsons, Dr. Seth Guidry and Paul Guidry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Joseph Naquin, her parents - Louis and Nita Triche Delaune, Brothers- Patrick, Leonard, Nolan, and Daniel Delaune, sisters – Hazel Zito and Essie Babin.
She enjoyed sewing, needlework, and gardening. Although her love for her family and friends was unending, her favorite pastime was loving her grandsons.
The family would like to thank: The Suites of Sugar Mill Point, Haydel Hospice, and Freeda Sims for their loving care during her time of need.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Francis de Sales School and St. Louis Catholic Church.
