Jeanne R. Lefort, 85, a native and resident of Galliano, died Sunday, July 10, 2011.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time today at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Religious services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at the funeral home, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Jean F. Lefort; one brother, Menton Rousse; four grandchildren, Clarke Lee and wife, Jenifer, Lance Lee, Sarah Thibodeaux and husband, Brent, and Harris Lee Jr.; and 10 great-grandchildren, Victoria, Breana, Tapanga, Annalise, Chance, Ramsey, Mayce Jean, Jayce, Brandon, Jet, and Kohen Francis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Phillinese Rousse; two brothers, Manny and Bill Rousse; and one sister, Josephine Rousse.
Ms. Lefort was a member of La Societe De Cajun and the genealogy club. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
