Jeanne Comardelle Dufrene

Jeanne Comardelle Dufrene, 83, a native of Comardelle Village and a resident of Bayou Gauche, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA and from 8:30 am until 11:00 am on Monday, October 14, 2019 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery, Bayou Gauche, LA.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Dufrene; sons, Wesley Dufrene (Diane), Meryl Dufrene (Phyllis) and Bart Dufrene (Joanne); 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marc Alcide Comardelle and Louise Comardelle; brothers, Lester, Roy, Peter, Fergus and Ludwick Comardelle and sisters, Selina Moorehouse, Martha Matherne and Esther Dufrene and grandson, Bart Dufrene Jr.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
