Jeanette Schoultz Connor, 82, a native of Gueydan and resident of Lockport passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022.
Visitation will be held at Gueydan United Methodist Church in Gueydan, LA on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Gueydan Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Jonathan (Angie) Connor; daughters, Rhonda (Brooks) Bellanger, Valerie (Lonnie) Falgout and Melanie (Ellis) Pertuit; brothers, Howard Schoultz and Preddie Schoultz; sister, Pauline Sonnier; 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Joseph Connor; parents, Johnny and Daisy Guidry Schoultz; son, Percy Dean Connor; Gilbert “Curly” Schoultz and Willie Schoultz; sisters, Mary “Toot” Haines, Theresa LeJuene, Shirley LeJuene, Elizabeth Dubois and Patricia Vincent.
Special thanks to the staff at The Broadway Elder Living and Rehabilitation Center from the family for the care of their mother.
Jeanette was an avid amateur genealogist.
