Javy J. Pertuit, 91, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 9:50 AM at his residence.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Monday, November 25, 2013 at Falgout Funeral Homes, Raceland LA and from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. Religious services at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Donald J. Pertuit and wife Babs; sister, Louella Rybiski; 3 grandchidren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Edna Alexander Pertuit; parents, Sam and Angelle Folse Pertuit and brother, Jessie Pertuit, Sr.
He was a retired U.S. Army World War II Veteran.
