Jason B. Esponge, a native of Lockport and resident of Larose, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the age of 46.
Visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Larose, on Tuesday, April 28 from 11:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Jason is survived by his wife, Aurora P. Esponge; parents, Venice and Mary Ann Esponge; step sons, Damion and Hayden; step daughter, Hailey; brother Cyrus Esponge (Wendy); sisters, Vinette E. Plaisance (Jeff) and Phyllis E. Lee; uncle, Rodney Hartman; nieces and nephews, Jordy, Dustin and Tyler Plaisance, Jade Breaux, Cameron, Sydney and Myah Esponge; mother and father-in-law, Evelyn and Jerry Savoie Jr.; brother-in-law, Sim Pertuit and sister-in-law, Eva Stanley.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Duciana T. and Fortuna Hartman and Enola and Venice A. Esponge; uncle, Neves Esponge; nephew, Bryce Esponge and godparents, Pearl Anselmi and Uyless Hartman.
Samart-Mothe of Cut Off is entrusted with arrangements.
