Jane Pitre Bourgeois, 96, entered Heaven's Gates on Sunday, January 14, 2018, while surrounded by family at home. She was born on June 24, 1921.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, January 22, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her companion, Jesse Chaisson; son Lloyd Pitre; daughters, Pam Pitre Cancienne (Larry), Denise Pitre Chiasson (Fiancé, Paul Terrebonne); 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dewey Pitre; second husband, Roy Bourgeois; son-in-law, Ricky Chiasson; grandson, Benjamin Chiasson; parents, Luma and Orelia Bergeron Leger; brother, Howard Leger and sisters, Isabelle Reynolds and Ethel LeBleu.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
