Jan Plaisance Johansen, 82, a native and resident of Cut Off, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.
Visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Larose, on Friday, June 10th from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Jan is survived by her daughters, Sheila P. St. Pierre (Eddie), Karen P. Blanchard (Mark), Carla P. Carmouche (Taylor); grandchildren, Courtney S. Breaux (Jacob), Stephanie C. Swayze (Scott), Lance Carmouche (Tiffany), Chance A. St. Pierre (Angelle), Cory Blanchard (Elise); great grandchildren, Pierce, Cooper and Harper Rae Breaux, Elise Carmouche, Connor Swayze, Liam and Lily St. Pierre and Korra Blanchard; sister, Linda P. Johnson and fur baby, Smokey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl C. Johansen; parents, Edgar and Lenora Plaisance; sister, Jean Chiasson; brother, Bobby Plaisance and infant sister, Betty Plaisance.
