Jamie "Jam" Delatte, a native of Raceland and resident of Des Allemands passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the age of 39.
Jamie is survived by his mother, Pamela S. Plaisance (Roland); grandmother, Rita Schaubhut; daughter, Isabella "Bella" Delatte and her mother, Angele Baker; brother, Johnnie Delatte, Jr. (Kristi); half siblings, Paula Foret, Paul Duet, Joya Delatte, Scott Marcel; cousin, Dana Delatte; godchild and nephew, Johnnie Delatte, III; nieces, Victoria Delatte, Tanner Delatte and Autumn Foret; nephew, Bryant Foret.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Delatte, Sr.; grandparents, James J. Schaubhut, Morris and Lucille Delatte; step-grandparents, Ouida & John Plaisance.
Jamie played guitar for Southdown Band in Houma, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in his honor on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in St. Gertrude Catholic Cemetery.
