James Claiborne King, 73 a native of Golden Meadow, La. and resident of Larose, La. passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 with his loving family near his side.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La. from 9:00am until 11:00am. A memorial service will begin at 11:00am with burial in Pine Grove, La.
James is survived by his wife of 46 years Anne Callais King; daughters, Amy (Butch) Missios, and Anna (Ashley Pollard) King; grandchildren, Amarissa Missios and Joshua Missios; brother, Louie King and sister, Charlotte (Roger) Brown.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James Dallas King and Patricia Boudreaux Bollinger; brother, Rudy (Susan) King; sister-in-law, Lou Callais.
James was a teacher at Golden Meadow Junior High for 20 + years and enjoyed going to the camp.
James was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 259.
