James "Jimmy" Bergeron

James "Jimmy" Peter Bergeron, 85, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 3:46 p.m. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Shirley Sevin Bergeron; sons, Tony J. Bergeron and wife, Sally, and Troy J. Bergeron and wife, Bridget; daughters, Christine A. Bergeron, Cheryl L. Bergeron, Jamie M. Boudreaux and husband, Richard “Ricky” III, Terrie L. Bergeron, Dana L. Ledet and husband, Don; brothers, Robert Bergeron, and wife, Mavis, and Ralph Bergeron; sisters, Jane Portier and husband, Daniel Sr., and June Rozands and husband, Peter; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Anthony Sr. and Valerie “Bernice” Babin Bergeron; brother, Alvin Bergeron Jr. and wife, Jane; and grandson, Bubba Dove Jr.
