Jacqueline "Jackie" H. Crum

Jacqueline “Jackie” H. Crum, 89, a native of Bayou Black and resident of Houma passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021, from septicemia due to UTI.

Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Wednesday, January 20th from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernadette Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Jackie is survived by her longtime companion, S.L. Locascio; daughters, Paula DeRoche and Bonnie Theriot; grandchildren, Rachelle Economides, Brittany Pijor and husband Dustin, Jared Theriot and companion Stefanie Hummel; 4 1/2 great-grandchildren, Cullen Nyssen, Gabrielle Gautreaux, Addison Gautreaux, Logan Pijor and baby girl Brynlee Pijor on the way; nieces, Dorothy Butcher, Belinda Cavalier and Marlene Giroir; nephew, Lionel Giroir and cousins.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, H. Paul Crum; parents, Claude and Odette Hebert; sisters, Shirley Clark and Jeanne Deroche.

Jackie loved to cook, dance and work in her yard. She had a passion for animals, especially cats that she has fed for decades that would show up at her house. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.

She was a devote catholic, and said her rosary several times a day.

The family would like to thank all those who kept her in their prayers during this difficult time. As well as Father Andre, Terrebonne General and Dr. Nichols Rau.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in her memory to Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter.
