Jackson Joseph Dufrene Sr.

Jackson J. Dufrene, Sr., 78, a native of Bayou Gauche, LA and a resident of Larose, LA, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie M. Dufrene; sons, Nerman Dufrene (Rose), Jackson Dufrene Jr. and Tommy Dufrene Sr. (Tammy); brother, Joseph Dufrene (Denise); sisters Sally Matherne (Luther), Stephanie Roberts (Barry); sister-in-law, Vivian Dufrene; grandchildren, Julie Besson (Mark), Tommy Dufrene Jr. (Jessica), Dwayne Blanchard (Katelyn) and Trey Blanchard; great grandchildren, Jordyn Besson, MaKayla Blanchard, Isabella Blanchard, Bentley Blanchard and Delilah Dufrene on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Verlis C. Dufrene; brother, Merlin Dufrene Sr., sister, Andrea Dufrene (Chad) and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Nerman “Pete” and Lillie Matherne.
