Jackin Joseph Lafont Jr., 56, native of Galliano, LA, died Tuesday, 6/21/22. He was an avid trawler, and father of 3.
He is survived by his children Jrew, Darcy, and Malaina; brother Forest Matherne, and many other neices, nephews including Ronnie Riera which he contacted often for guidance and help.
Preceded in death by his Father, Jackin Lafont Sr., and Mother, Enzie Thibodaux Lafont; Step-mother- Geneva Lafont; Brother, Buddy Matherne; and Sisters, Marian "Sis" Naquin and Gloria Jean Guidry.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, LA from 10:00 AM with a Memorial Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
