Ivy P. Foret, 92, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. Religious services will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Gary Foret (Linda), Carolyn Dufrene (Teddy), Rodney Foret (Amy), Rudy Foret (Karen); daughter-in-law, Betty Foret; brother, Pierre “Benny” Foret, Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one on the way and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley W. Foret; son, John Foret; parents, Pierre Foret Sr. and Ella Babin Foret; brothers, Louis Oville Foret, Joseph Foret, Paul O. Foret and sister Cerita LeBlanc.
Ivy was a member of Holy Name Society and was a Eucharistic Minister.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
