Isabel "Bell" Morvant Bonvillian

Isabel "Bell" Morvant Bonvillian, 71, a native of Chackbay and resident of Raceland, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016. Visitation will take place at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church on Thursday Dec. 22, 2016 from 9:00 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church cemetery.
Mrs. Bell is survived by her son, Michael "Gil" Bonvillian and his wife Christine Newton Bonvillian; grandson, Jake Brandon; granddaughter, Edie Francesca; brother, Larry Morvant (former wife Joanne); sisters, Mary Morvant (Murphy) and Gloria Richard (Jimmy); sister-in-law, Iris Morvant and godchildren, Debra Girior, Ron Benoit, and Allen Morvant.
Mrs. Bonvillian was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Francis Bonvillian; mother, Lorita B. Morvant; father, Adley Morvant; brothers, Carroll, Harold, and Roland; paternal grandparents, Levy Morvant and Cecile P. Morvant and maternal grandparents, Aless Benoit and Agatha B. Benoit.
Mrs. Bell was a parishioner of St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church. She loved taking care of her grandchildren, cooking, watching football, quilting, and going to casinos.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and the D.A.V.
The family would like to thank her friend, Gloria Ramsey for her care and Thibodaux Healthcare Center and Thibodaux Regional.
