Irene T. Kern

Irene Terrebonne Kern, 93, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2022.

Visitation is on June 7, 2022 from 10 AM to 12 Noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, La., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Noon. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.

She is survived by children Gary Kern (Nelwyn), Jessica Kern, Kevin Kern (Bonnie) and Cynthia Olds (Jean), 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Leo Kern, daughter, Lisa Rebstock, parents Dominic and Natilde Cheramie Terrebonne, brothers Maurice “Mike” Terrebonne, Leo Terrebonne, Ivy “Boone” Terrebonne, Rodney “P.T.” Terrebonne, sisters Augusta Adams, Hazel Dupre, Earline Pitre, Leonise “Nanan” Terrebonne, Genevieve Doucet, and Eleonore “Naw Naw” Danos, grandson Jake Rebstock and granddaughter Claire Olds.

Irene was a professional florist and owner of Bayou Florist for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
