Irene Josephine Guidry Bychurch, 86 a native and resident of Galliano, LA., passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:30 am on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow, LA with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery, Galliano, LA.
She is survived by her sons, Billy Bychurch, Michael Bychurch and Troy Bychurch (Nora); sister, Shirley Savoie; grandchildren, Noah Bychurch, Leah Bychurch, Brock Bychurch and Layla Bychurch Maldonado (Hector); great grandson, Calvin Maldonado and 1 great granddaughter on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Bychurch, parents, Wilford and Devienne Guidry; daughter-in-law, Myra Bychurch; brothers, Hilton, Norman and Edward Guidry and sisters, Nephta Lorraine, Clara Savoie, Lois Guidroz and Ezona Guidry.
Irene was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor church choir and was a religion teacher.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
